Report card

Amanda got her report card for second semester today, and there is good news and bad news. Good news is that she did great! Bad news is that they send home two copies of your report card now because so many kids come from divorced homes. That just makes me sad.

That is sad.

The part that makes me sad is all the "No contact" orders we have on file at our school where one parent is not allowed to even see their child.

Makes you that much more grateful for your marriage, and your partnership in raising your kids, doesn't it?

I'm so grateful for the great parents all my grandchildren have! What more can a dad and grandpa ask for? I see men my age who have traded family stability for pleasure, money, etc. and see how much of the really good stuff they have chosen to give up. Poor saps!
