Rain Gutter Regatta

Other than getting baptized the other thing Connor was most excited for when he turned 8 was becoming a cub scout. We returned home from Utah just in time for his first Pack meeting, the Rain Gutter Regatta. Here he is testing out his little boat.

The MC for the night, Brother Finch, our cubmaster. The guys is crazy! Apparently he is a professional entertainer at Knott's Berry Farm and he comes in a crazy get-up every pack meeting, and he certainly never fails to entertain!

The race is on!


Connor's little boat ended up doing really well and he took second place.
